Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.chanchals.com (the "Website") and any purchase of gold coins, silver coins, gold bars, silver bars, gift cards or customised products (collectively, "Products") from Chanchals.com ("Chanchals", "we", "us", "our"), operated out of Delhi NCR, India.

These Terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy and Shipping Policy, which are incorporated here by reference.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to place an order on chanchals.com. By using our Website, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Accounts & registration

You may browse the Website without an account, but placing an order online requires accurate registration details — name, contact number, email and delivery address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity carried out under your account. Notify us immediately at support@chanchals.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

Products & pricing

All gold coins and bars sold on chanchals.com are BIS hallmarked; purity and weight are stated on each product page. Product images are for illustrative purposes — minor variations in coin design, packaging or certicard branding (e.g. MMTC-PAMP, BRPL, ACPL) may occur depending on stock and refiner availability.

• Prices are linked to the live gold/silver rate ("Aaj Ka Bhav") displayed at the top of the Website and are subject to change without prior notice.
• Displayed prices exclude applicable GST, which is added at checkout.
• 24K gold bars are sold with zero making charges; certain designed coins may carry a minting/design charge shown on the product page.
• In the event of a pricing error due to a technical fault, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund.

Orders & acceptance

Placing an order — whether through the Website, WhatsApp or by phone — constitutes an offer to purchase, which we may accept or decline at our discretion. A contract of sale is formed only once we send an order confirmation. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, stock unavailability, or incomplete KYC for high-value bullion purchases, in which case any payment received will be refunded in full.

Payment

We accept UPI, major debit/credit cards, net banking, PayTM and Cash on Delivery (COD) on eligible orders, as detailed on our Payment Options page. All online payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways; Chanchals does not store your complete card details. COD availability and limits, particularly for high-value bullion, are shown at checkout and may require additional verification.

Shipping & delivery

Orders are shipped free of charge and fully insured across India, in line with our Shipping Policy. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to logistics disruptions, festive-season order volumes, or address/verification issues. Someone must be available to receive and, where required, sign for high-value shipments.

Cancellations, returns & refunds

Orders may be cancelled or modified free of charge before dispatch. Unopened products in their original, hallmark-sealed certicard packaging may be returned within 7 days of delivery; once the tamper-evident seal is broken, the product is not eligible for return. Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method within 5–7 business days, or by bank transfer/UPI for COD orders.

Customised or personalised products (engraved names, corporate logos) cannot be cancelled or returned once production has begun, except in cases of manufacturing defect.

Customised & corporate orders

For personalised coins and bulk corporate gifting orders, the design, quantity, pricing and delivery timeline agreed at the time of order confirmation form part of these Terms. Corporate orders may be subject to separate payment terms (e.g. advance payment or milestone billing), communicated in writing before production begins.

Intellectual property

All content on chanchals.com — including the Chanchals name, logo, product photography, coin designs, website text and layout — is the property of Chanchals.com or its licensors and is protected under applicable Indian intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute or create derivative works from any part of the Website without our prior written consent.

Acceptable use

When using our Website, you agree not to:

• Provide false, incomplete or misleading information when placing an order;
• Use the Website for any fraudulent, unlawful, or money-laundering related purpose;
• Attempt to interfere with, hack, or disrupt the Website's security or functionality;
• Resell or misrepresent Chanchals products as being from another brand.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any user found in breach of these Terms, and to report suspected fraudulent activity to the appropriate authorities.

Limitation of liability

Chanchals.com strives to ensure accurate pricing, product descriptions and timely delivery, but we do not guarantee that the Website will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted under Indian law, Chanchals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Website, except in cases of proven negligence or wilful default on our part. Our total liability for any claim relating to a specific order shall not exceed the value of that order.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Chanchals.com, its employees and affiliates harmless from any claim, loss or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Website.

Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of chanchals.com shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi, India.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business practices or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
